Built around a wide-ranging interview with Apichatpong Weerasethakul, this book offers a journey through the territories that the Thai filmmaker has inhabited and transformed over the last thirty years. A series of previously unpublished essays examine all the practices (cinema, video, installations, virtual reality, etc.) of this essential artist of our time, and examine a body of work that is constantly evolving, across time and space. From Asia to South America, from cinema to virtual reality, from the collective to the intimate, from the arts to the sciences, texts and images intertwined like a jungle trace a possible path through three decades of ongoing creation and exploration.
