In this programme of six short films, the director focuses on a form of intimacy.

After the 2011 earthquake in Japan, two long-distance lovers call each other on Skype.

"I decided to make a film about what I know best: my life - my mother, my nephew, my niece, my brother, my sister, my lover, my dog, my bedroom, my favourite landscapes and other things, including my light.”
Ashes (2012, 20 min, DCP, colour, original version with French subtitles)
Set against a backdrop of protests, Ashes evokes the dream of returning to your home village.
Async First Light (2017, 11 min, DCP, colour, silent)
Several people fall asleep. A collaboration between Weerasethakul and Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Cinetracts (2020, 2 min, DCP, colour, silent)
It's raining and the children are sleeping. Meanwhile, on Twitter, Thai users are challenging the country's policies.
