"A true synthesis of the visual arts: colour and form in catalysing architecture." (Righetti)
Such was the ideal programme of the exhibition entitled "Architecture, Forms, Colour" organised in Biot in 1954 by the Groupe Espace. Works were presented in the open air and in tubular shelters that were open on two sides and installed on the site by André Bruyère. Painter and sculptor Renato Righetti presented Esprit Volant (Flying Spirit), which André Bloc acquired atthe end of the exhibition and installed in his house-workshop in Meudon. Righetti lived in Paris and participated, along with Berto Lardera, in the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles
