L'Homme réseau
1966
The NFT is accompanied by a letter addressed to the buyer, unsealed by Fred Forest when the work was donated to the Centre Pompidou, and a painting made in 1966.
Titled L'Homme réseau, the painting was part of the series of "screen paintings" onto which the artist projected slides and films in the 1960s. lt was made a year before Forest made his first video and featured on the Parcelle-Réseau website in 1996. lts association with NFT-Archeology in 2021 is a retrospective gesture and a nod to an artistic career spanning more than fifty years dedicated to information technology.
