Mot(et)s Cachés

During the Traces du Sacré exhibition, Spectacles Vivants and Ircam will be organising a concert by Exaudi, an English vocal ensemble, featuring pieces by composers Thomas Tallis and Brian Ferneyhough. Five centuries separate the Renaissance composer who wrote a well-known motet for 40 voices and the man who concealed a Motetus Asbsconditus in his opera Shadowtime. The combination is polyphonic prowess.
