Colloque les mondes de 68
19 May 2018
The event is over
It is commonly thought that the events that erupted in 1968 contributed to a reconfiguration of our political and social imaginations. This "68 effect", so often decried or lauded, perhaps found its origin in the multitude of events it covered. This four-day seminar approaches May 68 through the principal vectors of social imagination: "the works", "the images", "the archives" and lastly, on this final day, "the spoken word".
With participants including Philippe Artières, Éric de Chassey, Arno Bertina, Béatrice Fraekel and Anne-Marie Faure-Fraisse, Stéphane Gatti, Mélanie Papin, Fabienne Lauret and Olivier Vadrot. In collaboration with the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, tThe Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art and the Archives Nationales.
