Les Disparates [The disparates], 1999, 15'. Direction: César Vayssié. Choreography: Boris Charmatz, Dimitri Chamblas. In this solo, recreated in the natural setting that is the town of Dieppe and interpreted by Dimitri Chamblas, multiple corporal states confront each other. Boris Charmatz, although absent, becomes the immutable reference of a film in which all heterogeneous forces and both internal and external landscapes, seem to converge, confront one another, and reconcile, in this centripetal movement that offers us a kaleidoscopic vision of Dieppe. Ascension, 2000, 17'. Direction: Alain Michard. Alain Michard filmed Aatt enen tionon in a very short space of time. This is a piece for three dancers - Vincent Druguet, Julia Cima and Boris Charmatz - where each of the soloists is isolated on the "lower" stage of a structure composed of three levels. Une lente introduction [A slow introduction], 2008, 34'. Direction: Boris Charmatz. "The dancers in films should be naked." claims Jonas Mekas. With Une lente introduction, this quote starts to make sense. The music fades out and leaves space for just the sounds of the body. This film immortalises the major piece "Herses" in a sumptuous work, stretching choreographic exploration towards new territories.
