La Hora de Los Hornos

Experimental and political Argentina. L'Heure des brasiers [The hour of the furnaces] is divided into three parts: Néocolonialisme et Violence [Neo-colonialism and Violence] (liberation of Argentina and the issue of its economic dependence on other countries), Chronique du péronisme [Chronicle of Peronism] (the progressive realisation of this situation by the people, and then the arrival of the soldiers) and Violence et Libération [Violence and Liberation] (composed of testimonies of soldiers and reports on the rebellion). This revolutionary manifesto was created voluntarily between 1966 and 1968, in 16mm and without synchronous sound by the Groupe Ciné Libération. It was shown only in parallel circuits, both due to its censure and by choice.
