Spectralismes

This second edition of the Spectralismes seminar is an opportunity to celebrate once again the multiple facets of spectralism; in other words, all forms of music which consider the acoustic structure of sounds and the mechanisms of auditory perception to produce original forms, tones, temporalities and means of expression. Numerous aesthetics thus enter into the ‘spectral thought’ without necessarily bearing relation to the creative and performing tradition established in France in the 1970s.
