Hiroaki Umeda / Olivier Dubois

The programme for this evening dedicated to young choreographic creation features Duo (a piece by multidisciplinary Japanese artist Hiroaki Umeda) followed by a solo by Olivier Dubois (who has danced for Andy Degroat, Karine Saporta, Angelin Preljocaj and Jan Fabre, inter alia). Hiroaki Umeda's pieces place dance in the midst of digital and electronic content and build a minimalist and radical audio and visual universe. Pour Tout l'Or du Monde (For All the Gold in the World) was created for the 2006 Avignon Festival's Sujet à Vif. Here, Olivier Dubois goes on stage to take an acidly droll look underneath dance.
