Les Pionniers

In 1962, Jonas Mekas presented his film Guns on the Trees in Argentina: three years later, other films by the same filmmaker and by Andy Warhol were screened at the Di Tella institute in Buenos Aires. These screenings saw the beginning's of an artist movement that would find an alternative manner of expression in audio-visual experimentation, within the socio-political context of censure and repression of the time.
