Alexandra Bachzetsis

Artist, performer and choreographer Alexandra Bachzetsis examines the mutual influence between the use of gesture and movement in "commercial" genres such as romantic comedy, TV series, video clips and the "arts" – ballet, modern dance and performance. She takes inspiration from the stereotyped representations of women's bodies in popular contemporary culture, show business and the sex industry.
