Vera Mantero and Guests

A regular guest of the Centre Pompidou, the Portuguese choreographer Vera Mantero presents her latest creation Jusqu'à ce que Dieu soit detruit par l'extrême exercice de la beauté [Until God is Destroyed by the Extreme Exercise of Beauty], a piece in which she strives to re-establish an organic continuum capable of reconciling reason and sensuality, feelings and will-power, and of making a place for this "anthropological disorder" that she regards as the sign of our "powerful powerlessness".
