Director Jim Jarmusch and composer Carter Logan are SQÜRL, a post-rock avant-garde duo created in 2009.
For this exceptional evening, Jarmusch and Logan will play the live soundtrack to four silent, surrealist, dreamlike movies by artist, painter, photographer and director Man Ray. They create semi-improvised scores, combining loops, synthesisers, guitars and effects pedals, affirming their love of experimentation, drones and ambient music.
